DAY 12 - FRIDAY - 14 FEB

“If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in His love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.” - John 15:10-11

When we encounter Christ and then abide in Him, the character qualities that honor the Lord begin to emerge. As we experience complete security and confidence in the Lord, the divine quality of joy will be noticed by others.

PRAY FOR SELF:

God, help me abide in Christ and become more like Him. Strengthen me with the power of the Holy Spirit to help me fight against sin, disobedience and disbelief. Help me experience abounding joy regardless of the trials or circumstances I go through. In Jesus’ name, amen.

PRAY FOR CHURCH:

God, we pray that we may be a church full of love and full of joy. We pray that others may see that the joy we have is not dependent on changing circumstances but on an unchanging, holy, good, and faithful God. Thank you for offering us your joy. In Jesus’ name, amen.
