WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU
We’re sure you’ve heard us preach that “Jesus laid down His life for you” or that “God sent His only Son for you and I” (John 3:16) But maybe you’re not sure what that means or why it should mean anything to you. By this, we refer to what happened at that cross when Jesus was crucified. Before Jesus gave His life for us, the people of that day were living under Moses’ law, the Old Covenant. Under this covenant, the people used the blood of animals to atone for their sin.
Jesus came to redeem us from the curse of sin and to fulfil the law. Jesus gave His life as a perfect, once and for all, sacrifice. That is why today, you and I don’t need to offer sacrifices, we are to just believe in Jesus and that His blood washes us clean from sin.
But that’s not all, Jesus was beaten and scourged for us, He took upon Himself sickness and disease (Matt 8:17). Today we can stand firm in our faith and believe Jesus for our forgiveness and healing because Jesus paid it all!
This means that, no matter who you are, what you’re going through or what you’ve done, you can come boldly to God and receive your forgiveness and healing because Jesus is our eternal sacrifice, our debt has been overpaid. (Isaiah 43:25) All we need to do is believe and receive. Praise Jesus!
BAPTISM
Water baptism identifies you with the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It signifies your death to your old life and marks your new identity in Him. It is also a public declaration of your new birth and faith in His finished work!
Baptisms are held several times during the year, after the morning service. We hold a baptismal class to explain in greater detail the significance of being baptised. This class is a necessity for all those who wish to be baptised.

BABY DEDICATION
Congratulations on your newborn! Children are a gift from God. (Psalm 127:3)
If you would like to dedicate your baby to the Lord and commit to raising your child in the ways of God we would love to pray a blessing over your bundle of joy. We hold baby dedications regularly. Please contact the church or one of our pastors for more information.
