not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

OUR MISSION

CELL GROUPS

Our cell groups are a great place to share God’s love through the Word and fellowship in a small group setting. You’ll be encouraged in your daily walk with Jesus and build strong kingdom friendships.

If you've made Norwegian Settlers Church your home church we encourage you to join a cell group and build strong relationships of accountability!

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Cell Groups is a small life group that meets weekly. You will find it to be a warm, caring environment and will be encouraged to have insightful discussions on topics you may not have the chance to discuss in a Sunday service.

It is a place where you can build a family within the church, helping to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Cell groups are your church away from church! A place where members can build strong relationships of accountability and praying into and for each other.

SOME SPECIFICS:

  • The start and end time and location of each meeting varies across each cell group.

  • The meetings may contain different components such as worship, cell group lesson, prayer, and thanksgiving.

  • The cell group lessons are specially crafted to help members get to know the Bible on a deeper level and to encourage conversations around the Word.

If you would like to join a cell group, please contact Mark Smith who will help you choose a cell group that is best suited to you.

FAQs

  • We can’t do this Christian walk alone. Cell groups give you the opportunity to ‘be fed’ and ‘feed’ into others on a regular basis. Cell groups is a place where you can be challenged in your faith to grow, to experience God, to build your own self discipline of your relationship with God and to experience accountability of fellowship with other believers who can speak positively into your life.

  • Every cell group meeting is different. Age varies across all groups and the structure of the meeting varies across each group. Please contact Mark Smith to help you find a cell group that is best suited to you.

CELL GROUP CO-ORDINATORS

Mark and Shirene Smith oversee our Cell Group ministry. Mark was appointed in June 2022 as a Discipleship Pastor of Norwegian Settlers Church. Mark’s main focus is to equip cell leaders to grow in their ability to disciple members in their groups, to identify the needs within their group, where people are at in their spiritual walk and their foundational understanding of the Christian faith.
