We’re on the topic of standing and what it means to ‘stand’ in a biblical context. Today we’re looking specifically at what it means to ‘stand in the gap.’

In the book of Ezekiel, we see Ezekiel coming up with this terminology, where he looks into the scenario around him and he sees that God is sad because there’s a chasm between Him and His people - and God is looking for someone who can join them together.
