PLAN A VISIT

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them

MATTHEW 18:20

We believe that belonging to a church is an important part of our faith. Check out what a usual Sunday is like for us, to help you plan a visit with us. Looking forward to seeing you!

We gather each Sunday at 09:00 am. There is a spot for everyone of all ages to join us. Read below to learn more about what to expect at Norwegian Settlers Church.

WHEN DO WE GATHER?

There are two locations for you to park. Once you drive through our main gate you will be directed to park in our main parking area nearby. However, you may turn right and park at our bottom parking areas. There is also a drop-off zone at the front of the church for your convenience.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Our service starts at 9:00am and ends around 10:30am. However should we have a special service, we may take a few extra minutes.

HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?

We sing predominantly contemporary worship songs and hymns at times. Once in a while we also add in a few Afrikaans and Zulu songs into our worship set.

WHAT IS THE WORSHIP LIKE?

IS THERE A PLACE FOR MY KIDS?

Our Kids Church runs during the main service. You are welcome to sign up your kids for Kids Church when you enter. A Kiddies Corner room is available for mums with babies under 18 months. With a private breastfeeding facility as well as a toddlers play area. The room is fitted with a TV that streams the service, so that you may tend to your little ones while still being able to hear the message. Click below to find out more.

WHAT KIND OF MESSAGE WILL I HEAR?

Pastor Trevor Downham is Senior Pastor who preaches on most Sundays. However we do often get our other Pastors to share. We preach the finished work of Jesus on the Cross. We share pratical ways that you can apply your faith in everyday situations.
